The Forecasting Department at the Meteorological Service of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation expects tomorrow’s weather to be partly cloudy, gradually becoming cloudy with a slight drop in temperatures inland.
Conditions will remain unchanged over the mountains and along the coast, with a possibility of scattered drizzle in the evening.
Thick fog will continue to form over the mid-elevations, with poor visibility.
The following bulletin was issued:
-General conditions: Relatively changeable fall weather prevails over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin, with temperatures within seasonal norms.
Average temperatures for September: Tripoli between 22 and 32 °C, Beirut between 24 and 32 °C, Zahle between 16 and 32 °C.
-Weather Forecast for Lebanon:
Wednesday: Partly cloudy, with temperatures remaining stable along the coast and dropping slightly in the mountains and inland.
With strong winds and dense fog in the highlands, leading to poor visibility.
Thursday: Partly cloudy, gradually becoming overcast with a slight drop in temperatures inland.
Temperatures will remain unchanged in the mountains and along the coast, with a chance of scattered drizzle in the evening.
Dense fog will continue to develop over the mid-elevations, with poor visibility.
Friday: Partly cloudy with no significant change in temperatures along the coast and a drop in temperatures over the mountains and inland, while fog will persist over the higher elevations.
Saturday: Generally partly cloudy with no significant change in temperatures along the coast and in the mountains.
Temperatures will rise slightly inland, with fog continuing to form at higher elevations.
-Temperatures along the coast will range from 23 to 31 degrees; in the mountains, from 14 to 24 degrees; and inland, from 15 to 30 degrees.
-Surface winds: Active southwesterly winds at times during the day and light, variable winds at night, with speeds between 10 and 40 km/h.
-Visibility: Good along the coast; moderate to poor at times in the highlands due to fog.
-Relative humidity on the coast: between 60 and 80%.
-Sea conditions: choppy; water surface temperature: 29°C.
-Atmospheric pressure: 763 mm Hg.
