The Forecasting Division of the Meteorological Service at the General Directorate of Civil Aviation has forecast
Tomorrow’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy with fog in the highlands, with temperatures remaining largely unchanged along the coast and rising slightly in the mountains and inland.
High humidity will increase the sensation of heat, and winds will be brisk at times.
The following bulletin was issued:
– General Conditions: Typical summer weather prevails across Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin.
Humidity levels are high in coastal areas, and temperatures are above seasonal averages in inland areas and over the mountains.
– Weather forecast for Lebanon:
Friday: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with fog in the highlands and rising temperatures in the mountains and inland.
Temperatures will drop slightly along the coast with high humidity, and winds will be brisk at times, especially in the south of the country.
Saturday: Partly cloudy with fog in the highlands and no significant change in temperatures along the coast.
Temperatures will rise slightly in the mountains and inland.
High humidity will make it feel hotter, and winds will pick up at times.
Sunday: Partly cloudy with fog in the highlands, with no significant change in temperatures.
Humidity will also remain high, with occasional strong winds, especially in the south of the country.
Monday: Scattered clouds to partly cloudy with fog in the highlands.
Temperatures will rise further in the mountains and inland, exceeding seasonal averages.
– Temperatures along the coast will range from 23 to 33 degrees.
In the mountains, temperatures will range from 15 to 29 degrees; inland, from 17 to 35 degrees.
– Surface winds: Northwest during the day, variable and light at night,
with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h.
– Visibility: Good along the coast; moderate to poor at times in the mid-elevation areas due to fog.
– Relative humidity along the coast: Between 50 and 80%.
– Sea conditions: Low wave height; water surface temperature: 29 degrees.
– Atmospheric pressure: 759 mm Hg.
