The Media and Public Relations Department of the General Directorate of the Lebanese Civil Defense issued the following statement:
Personnel from the General Directorate of the Lebanese Civil Defense have been deployed to a number of locations along the Lebanese coastline.
From Tyre, Damour, Beirut, and Dbayeh,
All the way to Jbeil, Amchit, Tripoli, and Al-Abda, with the aim of ensuring the public safety of beachgoers.
This mission is part of the preventive measures implemented by the General Directorate of the Lebanese Civil Defense.
It is designed to protect citizens and ensure readiness and rapid response in the event of any emergency.
The Directorate urges citizens to immediately call the emergency number 125 in the event of any emergency.
