The Automobile and Touring Club of Lebanon is organizing the eighth annual Kaslik Aquathlon on the first Sunday of November, under the supervision of the Lebanese Triathlon Federation. The event combines swimming and running, with the participation of 119 male and female athletes.
The club has closed registration, with participation spanning multiple age categories for both men and women, alongside athletes with special needs. This diversity gives the race an inclusive character and allows participants to test their abilities in a competition that combines swimming and running skills in a single athletic challenge.
Participants will gather at the club’s headquarters in Kaslik starting at 5:30 a.m., continuing until 6:15 a.m., in preparation for the start of the competitions according to the set schedule.
Swimming and running along the Keserwan coast
The under-11 category competition begins at 7:15 a.m. and includes a 200-meter swim and a 1-kilometer run. The competition for the 12-to-18 age category then starts at 7:45 a.m., covering a distance of 400 meters of swimming and 2.5 kilometers of running.
The men’s and women’s race starts at 8:00 a.m. Participants swim 3,300 meters from the club’s beach to “Aquamarina” in Tabarja. After that, they run 10 kilometers, starting from Tabarja and finishing at the club’s headquarters.
Alongside the competitions, security forces and humanitarian organizations will accompany the swimmers and runners along the entire route. The Keserwan coast is thus preparing to host a busy day of sport, bringing participants together around challenge, perseverance and the spirit of competition in its eighth annual edition.
