Hot air masses in Lebanon are driving up temperatures

Hot air masses are flowing into Lebanon, with temperatures gradually rising to above seasonal averages, especially on Saturday and Sunday.

The hot air masses will begin to subside starting early next week, specifically on Tuesday.

The effects of these hot air masses will peak between Friday and Sunday, with eastern regions expected to be the most affected.

Temperatures are expected to reach 40 degrees in the Bekaa Valley, while they will reach 33 degrees in mountainous areas.

Temperatures will reach 36 degrees along the coast on Sunday.

It should be noted that humidity increases the sensation of heat along the coast and in nearby areas.

Meanwhile, conditions will be dry in the Bekaa and the mountains.

– Weather: Few clouds
– Temperatures will range as follows: between 26 and 33 degrees on the coast, between 20 and 38 degrees in the Bekaa.

And between 21 and 30 degrees at 1,000 meters
– Average surface humidity along the coast: 60%
– Winds: southwesterly, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h
– Surface air pressure: 1,006 hPa
– Visibility: good

– Sea conditions: Low waves and a water surface temperature of 29 degrees.

Friday: Partly cloudy skies with temperatures ranging as follows: between 26 and 34 degrees along the coast.

Between 20 and 39 degrees in the lowlands and between 21 and 31 degrees at 1,000 meters.

Winds will be from the southwest at speeds between 10 and 30 km/h.

Saturday: Partly cloudy skies with temperatures ranging as follows: between 27 and 34 degrees along the coast.

Between 20 and 40 degrees in the lowlands and between 21 and 33 degrees at 1,000 meters.

Winds will be from the southwest at speeds between 10 and 30 km/h.
