Jordanian artist Al-Akhras and Tunisian star Nordo are preparing to release their new song ‘Ghaddara,’ a first-time artistic collaboration that blends Levantine sentiment with Maghrebi rhythms, in a musical experience their fans are eagerly awaiting.
The two artists recently shared a teaser clip of ‘Ghaddara’ on social media, ahead of its release on November 5, 2026. Nordo had first revealed the collaboration in an interview with Billboard Arabia in December 2025.
Al-Akhras and Nordo Combine Two Musical Styles
The new work has an emotional character. Al-Akhras is known for his heartfelt style and Levantine melodies, while Nordo is known for the variety of his work, which spans rap, pop, and African rhythms.
The collaboration offers an opportunity to present a musical style that brings together two different Arab cultures and reflects the evolution of Arab music and its openness to new approaches.
Al-Akhras’s Notable Successes
Al-Akhras achieved several musical successes in 2025, most notably with his song ‘Sakaba,’ which topped the Top 50 Arab Indie chart and reached fourth place on the Billboard Arabia Hot 100.
His song ‘Harb’ also gained a prominent presence on music charts, alongside his well-known works such as ‘Lesatni Janbak’ and ‘Ghaliban.’
Nordo Continues to Shine in the Arab World
For his part, Nordo has expanded his presence across the Arab world through successful works, most notably ‘Ya Arraf’ with Ahmed Saad and Ahmed Zaeem, and ‘Zay El Khattaf’ with Ramy Gamal.
In 2025, he also released the album ‘Cotinga,’ which included six diverse tracks blending trap, R&B, Afrobeat, and flamenco.
The collaboration between Al-Akhras and Nordo on ‘Ghaddara’ confirms music’s ability to bring Arab talents together and create artistic experiences that transcend borders and dialects.
