Lebanon’s Submission for the 2027 Oscars: The Ministry of Culture—General Directorate of Cultural Affairs—announced an extension of the deadline for receiving submissions
For the Best International Feature Film category of the 2027 Academy Awards, the deadline has been extended to Friday, September 18.
All applications for the Lebanese submission for the 2027 Oscars must be submitted to the General Directorate of Cultural Affairs—Ministry of Culture at the UNESCO Palace in Beirut, first floor,
Submissions must be made during official working hours and may also be sent to the following email address: oscarslebanon@gmail.com.

Each application must include the following documents:
1. A letter of nomination addressed to the Ministry of Culture—General Directorate of Cultural Affairs. 1. A one-page synopsis.
2. Promotional materials available for marketing.
3. Proof of the film’s theatrical release.
4. A promotional plan in the event the film is selected.
Each film must verify that it meets all the requirements specified by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
