LPN Events launched the free “Daleelna” platform, under the patronage of Informatics and Technology Syndicate head George Khoury, in cooperation with the American University of Science and Technology in Bhamdoun.
The platform brings together commercial, tourism and industrial services, alongside public and private services.
The launch ceremony was attended by representatives of religious and political authorities and the presidency, in addition to university officials, mayors and mukhtars.
The Daleelna platform is starting its work in the Aley district before gradually expanding to various Lebanese regions.
During the event, the university’s director, Dr. George Rahbani, affirmed the role of universities in keeping pace with modern technology.
He also pointed to the contribution of digital transformation to the development of education and scientific research, and the new responsibilities it imposes on academic institutions.
For her part, media personality Ola Kantar explained that the platform seeks to make it easier for individuals to access the services they need.
It also works to narrow the gap between citizens and institutions, between business owners and customers, between municipalities and their residents, and between regions and their visitors.
In turn, advisor to the President of the Republic Dr. Hisham Ajeeb conveyed President Joseph Aoun’s appreciation for initiatives that serve the community.
He stressed the importance of digitization in developing public administration, reducing waste and corruption, and enhancing economic opportunities.
In the same context, Khoury called for strengthening technological education in universities and adopting a vocational track for workers in the sector.
Nisrine Sayegh, head of the Sacrifice and Giving Association, considered the initiative a model that turns aspirations into practical steps that serve the community.
