The Consulate General of Lebanon in Rio de Janeiro announced the establishment of the “Brazil-Lebanon Chamber of Commerce, Tourism, and Services” in the city.
In a statement, the consulate explained that “the founding general assembly approved the bylaws of the new chamber”.
It also unanimously elected its first executive board, along with the heads of the Advisory Council and the Financial Oversight Council.
For the term from 2026 to 2029.

The Consulate noted that “the new chamber aims to foster closer ties and strengthen relations between companies and entrepreneurs.”
It added that the chamber also aims to “strengthen commercial and economic ties and expand business and investment opportunities.”
The Consulate emphasized that “this initiative represents a moment of rapprochement and renewal of ties between Brazil and Lebanon.”
