The President of the Beirut Marathon Association Mai Hebron paid a working visit to the headquarters of the Railway and Shared Transport Authority in the Mar Mikhael area – Al-Nahr.
She met with the Director General Ziad Shea, accompanied by a delegation from the association, which included the director of races, Aarabi Nael, the director of operations, Françoise Nehme, and Fadi Kanaan, coordinator of the "unprecedented" regional sports event, which the association intends to launch and is the first of its kind in Lebanon.
The meeting began with a welcome from Shea to Hebron and the accompanying delegation, expressing his appreciation for the sports activities carried out by the Association.
He pointed out that these activities reflect a civilized image of Lebanon and the capital, Beirut.
Hebron responded with gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception, congratulating Shea on the official confidence in his choice for the position of responsibility for the railway and shared transport sector.
Kanaan gave a detailed presentation on the event from the logistical and technical aspects.
