The “Environmental Scouts of Lebanon” Association organized a camping competition for the Sea Scouts troop in the Ajd al-Barin area of Koura,
Members of the Maritime Scouts from the Port Regiment participated in the competition.
The competition included a hike starting from Al-Masilha Castle in northern Batroun and ending in the Ajd Abrin area.
It also assessed camping skills, discipline, teamwork, self-reliance, and adherence to Scout principles and values.
The Shark Vanguard won first place in the competition following a remarkable performance that reflected the level of preparation, training, and team spirit of its members.
This victory was the culmination of the members’ efforts, as they demonstrated competence at various stages of the competition.
In a statement, she emphasized “the importance of Scouting programs in developing boys’ character and fostering a spirit of responsibility, leadership, and cooperation.”
It continued: “This contributes to raising a generation that is aware and capable of serving its community and country.”
