Agreement on Skills Development in Saida

A Partnership for Skills Development in Saida

The “Servants of Tomorrow” and “The Fertile Desert” associations signed a cooperation agreement to launch joint programs in the field of accelerated vocational training, as well as a partnership for skills development in Saida.

The goal is to empower young people, women, and the most vulnerable groups to acquire practical skills that will enable them to integrate into the labor market.

It also aims to enhance their economic opportunities in a move that reflects the importance of investing in people as a fundamental step toward recovery and reconstruction.

This comes at a time when there is a growing need for practical initiatives to support local communities in the wake of the recent war.

It contributes to strengthening resilience and stimulating the economy by developing skills and creating new opportunities for production and employment.

The two organizations emphasized that “this partnership marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration to implement development programs that address the needs of the community.”

This stems from a shared conviction that reconstruction is not limited to infrastructure but begins with building people and empowering them through knowledge and skills.

This approach consolidates sustainable development and strengthens the future of the South and Lebanon.
