Dr. Karima Hajir, President of the Generous Hand Association, welcomed Mr. Johan Aref, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Malaysia in Lebanon, to the Khayoot Al-Raya Workshop in Tariq Al-Jadida.
The visit took place during a special morning gathering at the workshop. Dr. Hajir and the women working there warmly welcomed Aref and introduced him to their work and ongoing projects.
During his tour, Aref explored a wide range of crafts and handmade products created by the women. He praised their skills, creativity, and strong commitment to their work.
In addition, he highlighted the professional way Dr. Karima Hajir manages the workshop. He also praised her efforts to support women and help them develop their skills.
The visit lasted for more than an hour. At the end, Dr. Hajir honored Aref and presented him with a special gift made at the workshop as a sign of appreciation.
Afterward, a breakfast was held in his honor. The gathering took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
