The Municipality of Shadra organized the Shadra Festival, a large-scale event featuring a cultural evening headlined by artist Majd Musalli.
The event was attended by Michel Abdo, president of the Union of Municipalities of Northern Akkar, along with dignitaries and a large crowd of residents.
The event was supported by members of the Civil Defense and the Lebanese Red Cross.
The mayor of Shadra delivered a speech in which he expressed his pride in “this unifying gathering, which reflects the love and attachment of Shadra’s residents to their town.”
Khalil affirmed that “the municipality will remain by its people’s side, working within its available means to strengthen social and cultural life.”
He continued: “Organizing activities that provide opportunities for people to come together, get to know one another, and celebrate,”
emphasizing that “Shadra deserves to remain a unifying space for its residents and the people of the region.”
