The French Institute organized the eleventh edition of the Night of Ideas in Lebanon.
Beirut hosted the first event on June 18, while Tripoli welcomed the second evening on June 19.
This year’s edition carried the title “Paths and Imaginations.” It highlighted young people and emerging voices while encouraging creativity and reflection on a better future.
Poetry Evening in Beirut
The Charles Corm Foundation in Beirut welcomed the first evening of the Night of Ideas in Lebanon at 7 p.m.
During the event, winners of the “Poetry Challenge” competition presented poetry readings in Arabic and French. Students from the “Addressing Tomorrow – Lebanon” project also shared their work.
In addition, several prominent Lebanese cultural figures joined the evening.
Ghada Karki accompanied the poetry readings with musical performances on the piano and handpan.
Tripoli Celebrates Poetry and Dialogue
The Rachid Karami International Fair hosted the second evening of the Night of Ideas in Lebanon in Tripoli.
Several educational and cultural institutions worked together to organize the event.
Moreover, the program offered an open platform where participants could share their ideas and present texts in Arabic or French.
A Space for Creativity and Cultural Exchange
The Night of Ideas ranks among the world’s leading cultural initiatives. Organizers have brought the event to more than 100 countries.
In Lebanon, the festival created a lively space for dialogue and cultural exchange. It also celebrated poetry, imagination, and creative expression.
