Nejmeh Sporting Club announced in a statement on its official page “the apology of the first team’s technical director, Tunisian coach Lassaad Dridi, for not continuing his technical and coaching duties.”
This came due to special family circumstances that forced him to leave the team’s delegation during its return from Tajikistan.
The statement continued: “While Nejmeh Sporting Club understands the circumstances that led Coach Dridi to make this decision,
it extends to him its sincere thanks and appreciation for the period he spent heading the team’s technical staff, and for the high level of professionalism, dedication and sincerity he showed in carrying out his duties,
a period crowned by winning the Lebanese Cup title and qualifying for the AFC Challenge Cup.”
The club wished Coach Dridi “all the best and success in his future coaching career, and that God grant him and his family continued health and wellness.”
