The forecasting department at the Meteorology Service expects tomorrow’s weather to be mostly cloudy, with temperatures dropping, especially over the mountains and in the interior.
Scattered rain accompanied by lightning and thunder is expected, intensifying in the north of the country.
Hail may fall, and fog is expected to continue forming over the highlands, reducing visibility.
The bulletin stated the following:
General situation: Autumn weather dominates Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin, with temperatures in the interior above seasonal averages.
Starting Tuesday, the region is expected to be affected by a low-pressure system accompanied by relatively cold air masses, leading to a drop in temperatures.
The weather will turn rainy with lightning, thunder and active winds, with effects continuing throughout the week.
Average temperatures for October: Tripoli between 20 and 28 degrees, Beirut 21 and 29 degrees, Zahle between 13 and 27 degrees.
Expected weather in Lebanon:
Monday: Partly cloudy in the morning, gradually turning cloudy in the afternoon, with no notable change in temperatures.
Light rain is possible in the interior regions, especially in the southeast of the country, with fog forming over the highlands, resulting in poor visibility.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, with temperatures dropping, especially over the mountains and in the interior.
Scattered rain accompanied by lightning and thunder will fall, intensifying in the north of the country, with the possibility of hail and continued fog over the highlands, worsening visibility.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy to cloudy, with temperatures dropping, especially in the interior and over the mountains, before returning to seasonal averages.
Scattered rain accompanied by lightning, thunder and active winds will fall in the north of the country, with higher sea waves and fog persisting over the highlands.
Thursday: Mostly partly cloudy with scattered rain, accompanied by lightning and thunder, and continued fog over the highlands.
