Takreem celebrates 15 years of Arab achievement in Paris

Takreem celebrated the 15th anniversary of its founding during an evening held at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand hotel,

attended by around 400 personalities from the Arab world, Europe and the United States.

The event marked a milestone in the organization’s journey to spotlight Arab achievement on the global stage,

and to build bridges between culture, business and humanitarian work. It also brought together prominent figures from the fields of economics, diplomacy, arts, media and philanthropy.

Honoring prominent Arab figures

Journalist Gheida Fakhri hosted the ceremony, which recognized four individuals who have left a notable mark in their respective fields.

Patrick Chalhoub received the Achievement of the Year award in recognition of his career in the luxury goods sector, while Rodolphe Saadé,

Chairman and CEO of the CMA CGM Group, was honored for his role in international trade.

Sheikha Paula Al-Sabah was also honored for her efforts in supporting culture and humanitarian work, while Raja Sidawi

received the Legacy Award in recognition of his career in the energy and strategic information sector.

Success as responsibility and giving

Takreem founder and CEO Ricardo Karam affirmed that success is never achieved by an individual alone,

calling on accomplished individuals to give others the opportunities they themselves received at various stages of their lives.

The evening also featured a charitable initiative in partnership with Christie’s, with proceeds dedicated to supporting the Lebanese Children’s Home association and Takreem’s mentoring and career guidance program.

Since its founding in 2010, Takreem has evolved from a platform celebrating Arab achievements into an international network

bringing together leaders, entrepreneurs, artists and innovators, working to empower new generations and strengthen dialogue and cooperation across borders.
