The Forecasting Department at the Meteorological Service of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation predicted that tomorrow’s weather will be partly cloudy with dense fog in the highlands and no significant change in temperatures.
The following bulletin was issued:
-General Conditions: Typical fall weather will prevail over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin, with temperatures below seasonal averages in coastal areas through Monday.
The weather will then become unsettled with a drop in temperatures, especially inland and over the mountains, accompanied by occasional strong winds and the possibility of scattered showers.
Average temperatures for September: Tripoli between 22 and 32°C, Beirut between 24 and 32 °C, Zahle between 16 and 32 °C.
– Weather Forecast for Lebanon:
Friday: Partly cloudy with dense fog in the highlands and no significant change in temperatures.
In the evening, it will turn cloudy with a chance of drizzle in the highlands.
Saturday: Partly cloudy with dense fog in the highlands and no significant change in temperatures.
Sunday: Partly cloudy with fog in the highlands and no significant change in temperatures.
Winds will occasionally pick up in the north of the country, accompanied by higher waves.
Monday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with fog in the highlands.
Temperatures will remain largely unchanged along the coast, while they will drop significantly inland and in the mountains, with a chance of scattered showers.
These will be accompanied at times by lightning, thunder, and strong winds, leading to high sea swells.
-Temperatures on the coast will range from 22 to 30 degrees; over the mountains, from 16 to 25 degrees; and inland, from 16 to 32 degrees.
-Surface winds: Northwest, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h.
-Visibility: Average along the coast; occasionally poor in the highlands due to fog.
-Relative humidity on the coast: between 40% and 75%.
-Sea conditions: low wave height; water surface temperature: 28°C.
-Atmospheric pressure: 761 mm Hg.
