Saida Prepares for Winter: Emergency and maintenance crews at the Saida Municipality have begun their routine campaign to clean and clear sewers and stormwater drainage systems (sewage) in various neighborhoods and streets throughout the city.
This is part of the usual proactive preventive measures in preparation for the upcoming winter season.
This is to avoid any blockages or buildup that might hinder the flow of water.
The first phase of the work began in the neighborhoods and streets of Old Saida due to their unique heritage and geography.
The work will continue sequentially and intensively to cover all neighborhoods and major and minor streets in the city

Sidon Municipality reiterated its hope and call for residents, institutions, and businesses to cooperate with the work crews.
It also emphasized the need to keep the streets clean and refrain from dumping trash and waste near drainage channels to ensure the safety of the drainage system and its ability to handle rainwater without any obstructions.
