The Forecasting Department of the Meteorological Service at the General Directorate of Civil Aviation has forecast hot weather in Lebanon.
Relatively hot air masses originating from the Arabian Peninsula
These air masses will affect Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin, leading to a rise in temperatures, especially in mountainous and inland areas.
Temperatures will exceed seasonal averages, peaking on Friday and continuing through the weekend, with their impact gradually subsiding starting Sunday.
It also warned against sun exposure and forest fires in forested areas.

Friday: Partly cloudy with a further rise in temperatures, especially in mountainous and inland areas.
Humidity will remain high along the coast, increasing the sensation of heat, while fog will form in the highlands.
Saturday: Partly cloudy with temperatures above seasonal averages.
High humidity along the coast will make it feel even hotter, and fog will continue to form in the highlands.
Sunday: Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy with a drop in temperatures.
However, they will remain above seasonal averages in inland areas.
Clouds will thicken starting in the afternoon, creating conditions for drizzle in the northern highlands.
Monday: Scattered clouds to partly cloudy with a drop in temperatures.
However, temperatures will remain above seasonal averages in inland areas.

Surface winds: Northwest during the day, southeast at night, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h.
