The Lebanese Pharmacists’ Union, as part of its efforts to strengthen cooperation between the union and educational institutions, has signed an agreement that includes a university tuition discount for the children of pharmacists.
It also provides additional benefits and services to pharmacists and their families.
A cooperation agreement with the American University of Science and Technology provides a 35% discount for the children of pharmacists and their family members.
The agreement is valid for five years and covers all campuses of the university, according to a statement from the association.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdul Rahman Marqabawi, President of the Pharmacists’ Union, and Dr. Riad Saqr, President of the University.
Present at the signing were the deans of the university’s campuses and Association members: Maria Al-Khatib, Sam Baasiri, Christian Khoury, and Ziad Al-Hajj Shehadeh.
At the conclusion of the meeting, University President Dr. Saqr presented a commemorative plaque to Dr. Marqabawi in recognition of his efforts to strengthen cooperation and partnership between the association and the university.
