The Sharjah Book Authority announced, “Registration is now open for participation in the new edition of the Sharjah International Publishers Conference.
The event will be held at the Sharjah Expo Center from November 1 to 3.
This comes ahead of the 45th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, which begins on November 4.
The conference follows the Sharjah International Book Fair’s continued success in establishing itself
as the world’s largest marketplace for the buying and selling of publishing rights for the fifth consecutive year.
It brings together publishers, literary agents, and experts from around the world within a comprehensive professional program.
The program also includes training sessions and one-on-one business meetings.
In addition, there is a $300,000 translation grant, as well as the “Publishers’ Honor Award.”
Registration applications will continue to be accepted until August 25 via the conference website.
