The French Center organized the eleventh edition of the Night of Ideas in Lebanon.
Beirut will host the events on June 18, and Tripoli on June 19.
In addition, this year’s edition is titled “Paths and Imaginations”, and focuses on the younger generation and emerging voices, with the aim of encouraging creativity and thinking about a better future.
Poetry Evening in Beirut
The first evening of the Night of Ideas in Lebanon will be held at the Charles Qurm Foundation in Beirut starting at 7 p.m.
The Night of Ideas Festival in Lebanon includes poetry readings in Arabic and French, presented by the winners of the “Poetry Challenge” competition, and the students of the “Addressing Tomorrow – Lebanon” project.
A number of Lebanese cultural names will also participate in the Night of Ideas festival in Lebanon on this evening.
It is interspersed with musical passages on the piano and the “handpan” instrument performed by Ghada Karki.
Tripoli celebrates poetry and dialogue
The “Rashid Karami International Fair” in Tripoli is hosting the Festival of Ideas in Lebanon.
The festival evening is organized in partnership with several educational and cultural institutions.
The program will have an open platform for everyone to share ideas for their texts in Arabic or French.
A space for creativity and cultural exchange
The festival is one of the most prominent global cultural initiatives, and has been organized in more than a hundred countries.
Finally, in Lebanon, this event is a space for dialogue, exchange of ideas, and celebration of poetry and creativity.
