Lebanon’s weather will turn hot starting today

The Forecasting Department at the Meteorological Service of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation has forecast the following weather conditions for Lebanon.

Typical summer weather is expected to prevail in Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin.

Temperatures will be within seasonal norms, with some limited local fluctuations.

It is expected to become relatively hot starting Monday.

Temperatures will rise, especially in mountainous and inland areas, exceeding seasonal averages.

Weather forecast for Lebanon:

Saturday: Scattered clouds to partly cloudy with no significant change in temperatures and dense fog in the highlands.

Starting in the afternoon, scattered drizzle is expected in the northern highlands in the evening.

Sunday: Partly cloudy with dense fog in the highlands and a drop in temperatures inland, while temperatures remain largely unchanged along the coast and in the mountains.

Winds will pick up at times, with scattered light rain, especially in northern areas, starting at noon.

Monday: Few clouds to partly cloudy with fog in the highlands and stable temperatures along the coast.

Humidity will rise, exceeding seasonal averages inland and in the mountains.

Tuesday: Generally few clouds, with temperatures continuing to rise, especially in mountainous areas.

Humidity will remain high along the coast, increasing the sensation of heat.

Surface winds: Southwesterly, with speeds ranging from 15 to 35 km/h.
