The Lebanese national taekwondo team concluded its matches at the “Al-Hassan Open Taekwondo Championship” in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
It won three medals (one gold and two bronze) on the final day.
The gold medal was won by Ashraf Ibrahim (under 65 kg).
Ralph Shrabati also won a bronze medal in the under 49 kg weight class.
Chris Khoury also won a bronze medal in the under-57 kg weight class.
With these results, the Lebanese team has earned a total of eleven medals at the tournament,
These included two gold medals and nine silver and bronze medals.
This is an excellent result that reflects the high level of Lebanese taekwondo.
The national team was led by coaches Grand Master Elie Elia (head of the delegation), Elias Nasrallah, Mark Khalife, and Kevin Khattar.
