The Forecasting Department at the Meteorological Service of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation expects tomorrow’s weather to be mostly clear to partly cloudy, with no significant change in temperatures.
Humidity will remain high along the coast, making it feel even hotter. Fog will form over the mid-elevation mountains in the evening.
The following bulletin was issued:
– General Conditions: Relatively humid summer weather will prevail across Lebanon, with temperatures within seasonal norms through tomorrow, Tuesday.
The region will be affected by relatively warm air masses originating from the Arabian Peninsula.
Temperatures will exceed seasonal averages, especially in the mountains and inland.
They will peak on Thursday, and the effects will persist through Saturday.
– Weather Forecast for Lebanon:
Monday: Partly cloudy with no significant change in temperatures along the coast, accompanied by high humidity, which will increase the sensation of heat.
Temperatures will rise slightly in inland and mountainous areas, with fog forming over mid-elevation mountains starting in the afternoon.
Tuesday: Scattered clouds to partly cloudy with no significant change in temperatures.
Humidity will remain high along the coast, making it feel even hotter. Fog will form over mid-elevation mountains in the evening.
Wednesday: Scattered clouds with rising temperatures, reaching around thirty-eight degrees inland.
Fog will also form over the mid-elevation mountains in the evening.
Thursday: Partly cloudy with a further rise in temperatures.
Humidity will remain high along the coast and in the mid-elevation mountains, making it feel even hotter.
– Temperatures along the coast will range from 26 to 31 degrees; in the mountains,
from 20 to 30 degrees; inland, from 20 to 35 degrees.
– Surface winds: southwesterly, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h.
– Visibility: moderate.
– Relative humidity along the coast: between 60 and 85%.
– Sea conditions: Low waves; water surface temperature: 28 degrees.
– Atmospheric pressure: 759 mm Hg.
