The Forecasting Department at the Meteorological Service of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expects the weather tomorrow to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times.
Fog is expected over the mountains, with stable temperatures, scattered rain that will intensify at times accompanied by active winds, and a chance of thunder and lightning.
The bulletin stated the following:
General situation: Unsettled, autumn-like weather is affecting Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin due to a low-pressure system centered southwest of Turkey.
This is leading to changeable, occasionally rainy weather with active winds and a chance of thunder and lightning, continuing until Sunday, when conditions will stabilize temporarily before turning unsettled again on Monday.
Expected weather in Lebanon:
Thursday: Partly cloudy, with fog over the mountains and a slight drop in temperatures.
Scattered rain will fall at times with active winds and a chance of thunder and lightning, with clear spells during the day.
Friday: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with fog over the mountains and stable temperatures.
Scattered rain will fall, intensifying at times, accompanied by active winds and a chance of thunder and lightning.
Saturday: Partly cloudy, with fog over the mountains and a slight rise in temperatures.
Light, scattered rain will fall at times during the day, with broad clear spells, before the weather gradually stabilizes overnight.
Sunday: Partly cloudy to few clouds, with a further rise in temperatures, especially over the mountains and in the interior.
– Temperatures: along the coast, 18 to 28 degrees; over the mountains, 12 to 21 degrees; in the interior, 13 to 26 degrees.
– Surface winds: active southwesterly, with speeds between 15 and 45 km/h.
– Visibility: average along the coast, poor at times over the mountains due to fog.
– Relative humidity along the coast: between 60 and 80 percent.
