Jin Street Bonds Restructures Its Debt: Here’s the Size of the Deal

U.S.-based financial services company GenStreet sold $14.6 billion in bonds.

This is part of a broad plan to restructure its debt and finance its technical infrastructure, as well as to support the expansion of its trading strategies.

According to Bloomberg, the secured bonds were divided into three tranches: the first, worth $5.86 billion, matures in 2031.

The second tranche, worth $5.13 billion, matures in 2033.

The third tranche, worth $3.64 billion, matures in 2036.

The yield on the 10-year bonds reached approximately 8.088%.

It also aims to restructure Jane Street’s debt of approximately $11 billion.

The company posted record trading revenue of $39.6 billion last year.

It benefited from market volatility and its investments in artificial intelligence and technology companies.

Standard & Poor’s assigned the bonds a BB rating, while Fitch assigned the company a BBB- rating.

Part of the proceeds from the offering is expected to be used to develop technical infrastructure and finance growth plans.
