Haaland Fears Fatigue in the New Season

Norwegian star Erling Haaland has expressed concern about how the lack of a summer break and preseason training might affect his performance with Manchester City during the new season; Haaland fears the new season will be exhausting.

Despite these concerns, Haaland has started the season strong.

He has scored three goals in his team’s first three matches.

However, the 26-year-old striker did not participate in summer preparations after leading the Norwegian national team to the World Cup quarterfinals.

Haaland said on his YouTube channel that the season kicked off without him having participated in any part of the preseason.

He explained that his physical fitness will improve gradually, provided he stays injury-free.

Nevertheless, Haaland emphasized the importance of mental preparation.

He noted that the high number of matches and the length of the season do not leave enough time to step away from soccer and regain enthusiasm.

The Manchester City star emphasized that he has no complaints about playing soccer year-round.

However, he explained that players sometimes need rest to protect their health and maintain their performance level.

Haaland concluded by noting that this is a new experience for him, as he has never played in the World Cup before, so he is eager to see how the long season will affect his readiness.
