A representative for Canadian star Drake has denied the rumors that recently spread claiming he is expecting a child with Canadian artist Keshia Chanté, confirming that what is being circulated on the matter is not true.
The clarification came hours after Keshia Chanté announced she is pregnant with her first child, revealing that she is in her seventh month and expecting a baby boy. However, she chose not to disclose the identity of her child’s father, which opened the door to widespread speculation on social media.
Drake’s representative confirmed to People magazine that the circulating rumors have no basis in truth, putting an end to the questions linking the two stars.
For her part, Keshia Chanté expressed great happiness about her upcoming motherhood. She also spoke positively about her partner, describing him as intelligent, creative and inspiring, noting that she hopes their child will inherit some of his distinctive qualities.
Drake and Keshia Chanté share a longtime relationship dating back to their younger years. Drake had previously described her during OVO Fest in 2022 as his first girlfriend, affirming that she is someone he loves and deeply respects.
Keshia’s name was also previously linked to Drake’s famous song “In My Feelings,” after media reports suggested she was the inspiration behind the line “Kiki, do you love me?”
Meanwhile, Drake has been experiencing fatherhood for years, as he has a son named Adonis Graham with French artist Sophie Brussaux.
With this denial from Drake’s representative, the rumors have been put to rest, while Keshia Chanté prepares to welcome her first child amid an atmosphere of joy and excitement.
