Schools affiliated with the Archdiocese of Beirut and its Greek Orthodox Dependencies held graduation ceremonies for the class of the academic year 2025-2026 under the auspices of the Metropolitan of Beirut and its dependencies, Bishop Elias Odeh. The Beirut Diocese Schools Graduation 2026 celebrated the achievements of this year’s graduates. It also marked an important milestone for the community.
The graduation ceremonies in the schools of the Diocese of Beirut witnessed an atmosphere of joy and pride in the presence of religious, educational and social figures. In addition, parents and educational bodies attended.
The celebrations included the Three Moon Schools, Zahrat Al-Ihsan, Mar Elias in Tina Orthodox School, Orthodox Annunciation, and Our Lady of the Orthodox High School.
The graduation of the schools of the Diocese of Beirut 2026 also included prayers of thanksgiving, the distribution of certificates, technical paragraphs, and speeches for the graduates.
Bishop Odeh: Science is a message to serve man
In his speech, Archbishop Odeh stressed that graduation does not only represent the end of a phase. Instead, it is the beginning of a new path towards university and professional life.
A Message of Hope for Lebanese Youth
During the graduation of the Beirut Seminary 2026, Bishop Odeh touched on the challenges faced by young people in Lebanon.
He pointed out that the current crises may push some to migrate in search of better opportunities.
But he called on them to preserve their spiritual and human roots wherever they are.
He stressed that Lebanon needs their knowledge and creativity.
He also asked them to remain ambassadors of values, morals and faith everywhere.
