Al Shami Surprises Fans with ‘Ta’a’ and Reveals the Secret Behind Its Recording

Singer Al Shami has released his new song “Ta’a” in the Lebanese dialect as part of his debut album “Hawiyya.” The track marks a fresh artistic step, carrying a distinctive musical signature that blends emotional depth with innovative vocal techniques.

Al Shami collaborated for the first time with lyricist Mazen Daher. Karim Abdo composed the music, Soleiman Demian handled the musical arrangement, and Hassan Rahayel directed the music video.

The Secret Behind the Group Vocals in “Ta’a”

Music arranger Soleiman Demian revealed special details from the recording of “Ta’a,” explaining that the goal was to capture the audience’s genuine emotions, as if they were singing along with Al Shami during one of his concerts.

He stressed that the success of this effect lies in avoiding forced, overly technical performance and focusing instead on spontaneity and emotional momentum.

A Staircase Trick Gives the Song Its Distinct Character

Among the biggest surprises Demian revealed was recording some sections on the studio staircase to take advantage of the place’s natural echo.

He also used multiple microphones and different recording techniques before blending the voices to achieve the collective effect listeners hear in the song.

In this way, Al Shami added an innovative artistic touch to “Ta’a,” proving that musical creativity can sometimes begin with the simplest details.
