The Tripoli Local Development Network Association and the Lebanese International University signed an agreement to empower the youth of Tripoli.
A cooperation protocol was signed to unite efforts in the areas of empowering university students, promoting scientific research, and developing human capacity.
The signing took place on the university campus in Tripoli, under the patronage and in the presence of MP Jamil Abboud.
The association’s president, Dorine Akar Abboud, emphasized that “this protocol marks a step in a long journey of cooperation, bringing together community work and academic knowledge.”
The goal is to empower young people, raise their awareness, and open up future prospects for them, emphasizing that Tripoli is rich in young talent that deserves support and opportunities.
For his part, Ahmad Al-Ahdab, Director of the University of the North, expressed his gratitude to the Association.
He affirmed that “the agreement stems from a shared mission to support and assist students.”
He added that the university places its resources at the association’s disposal, based on its belief that human development begins with education.
