The Lebanese Olympic Committee is holding a ceremony to honor skateboarding champion Samer Sarkis.
This is in recognition of his gold medal win in the skateboarding competition at the 20th Mediterranean Games in 2026, hosted by the Italian city of Taranto.
The ceremony honoring skateboarding champion Samer Sarkis will be held in the presence of the President of the Asian Shooting Federation, His Highness Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah Al-Salem Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah.
The ceremony will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 7, 2026, in Hazmieh, next to the Permanent Residents Center.
The Lebanese Olympic Committee has extended an invitation to representatives of media organizations, across all their channels and platforms,
to participate in covering the tribute, celebrating the athletic achievement of Samer Sarkis, through which he raised Lebanon’s name high in the Mediterranean arena.
