The Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salameh, received the following individuals in his office at the National Library in Sanayeh:
He met with Najwa Basil, President of the “Theater of Tomorrow” Association, and association members: Bushra Shaheen, Siham Al-Ashi, Reem Al-Hashim, Natalie Qardahi, and Ghaida Farjan Baz.
Salameh was briefed by the delegation on the association’s preparations for the launch of the second edition of the “Echoes of the Theater Festival” in the city of Jbeil.
From the 24th to the 27th of this month, at the “Armenian Orphanage – Birds’ Nest.”
The festival is organized in collaboration with the Jbeil Municipality and with the support of a group of the association’s friends in the private and public sectors.
The meeting also addressed the Association’s activities and future projects.
In particular, the theater workshops and training courses it aims to organize for young women and men throughout the year, with the goal of fostering young people’s interest in theater and developing their creative abilities.
In this context, the Minister of Culture reaffirmed his support for the “Echoes of the Theater Festival.”
He highlighted the importance of “theater workshops dedicated to youth and their role in sustaining the cultural movement outside the capital, as well as their contribution to achieving balanced cultural development.”
