The Union of Mobile and Telecommunications Sector Workers in Lebanon has confirmed the date of its general elections—the Mobile Workers’ Union elections.
Following the completion of the required conditions and documentation, the elections are scheduled to take place on September 21 at “Beit al-Amal” in Jal al-Deeb, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
In a statement, the union noted that “in the event that a quorum is not reached,
the elections will be postponed to September 26 at the same time and place, with those present voting.”
It announced that “candidacy applications, accompanied by recent court records, will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. on September 18.”
