“Music Night” in Lebanon… The Streets Turn into Free Stages

The Ministry of Culture is preparing to launch “Music Night in Lebanon” in October 2026, as part of a national celebration that aims to transform streets, squares, and cultural institutions into open-air venues offering free performances to the public.

As part of the preparations for the event, the Ministry has opened the call for participation to musicians, singers, and bands

from across Lebanon, inviting emerging talents and professional artists to submit their projects to participate in this event.

What is “Music Night” in Lebanon?

“Music Night” in Lebanon aims to bring people together around music in an open and diverse atmosphere.

The initiative also seeks to give the public the opportunity to enjoy free performances in a number of Lebanese regions.

Streets, squares, and cultural institutions are expected to host various musical performances,

giving local talent a platform to showcase their work and reach new audiences.

Furthermore, the festival aims to bring together Lebanese people from different regions on a single night and highlight Lebanese artistic expressions.

Who can participate?

The invitation is open to musicians, singers, bands, vocal groups, choirs, and instrumentalists,

whether they are professional artists or up-and-coming talents.

Any artist or group with a musical project may submit an application to participate. Applicants must describe their artistic background,

as well as clarify the concept of the performance they wish to present during the event.

Participation encompasses various musical styles and experiences, provided that the entries are exclusively Lebanese.

Application Deadline

The Ministry of Culture has set September 1, 2026, as the deadline for receiving applications to participate in “Music Night.”

The event is expected to take place in October 2026, though the Ministry has not yet announced the final dates

or the venues, theaters, and squares that will host the performances.

Thus, “Music Night” offers every artist and talented performer the opportunity to reach a new audience and participate in an event that fills Lebanon’s streets and squares with music.
