Turkish club Trabzonspor officially announced the signing of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah.
The Turkish club said: “Wearing his dark blue jersey, he faces the cameras for the first time… His first message to the great Trabzonspor fans: ‘Trabzon is everywhere for us.’”
Trabzonspor had previously announced that it had reached an agreement with “the Sultan of Egypt,” Mohamed Salah, for him to join the team.
In one of the Turkish league’s most high-profile deals.
The club said the agreement calls for Mohamed Salah to sign a two-year contract.
For an annual salary of 1.7 million euros, without disclosing the value of bonuses or additional terms.
Trabzonspor added that the captain of the Egyptian national team arrived in Istanbul on Wednesday afternoon,
to finalize his transfer and undergo medical exams before being officially presented to the club’s fans.
Salah, 34, joins the Turkish team on a free transfer following the end of his nine-year career with Liverpool.
