Maggie Bou Ghosn Reveals the Cast of the Series “Al-Raysa” for Ramadan 2027

Lebanese star Maggie Bou Ghosn has revealed the cast of the series “Al-Raysa,”

in which she is set to star during the 2027 Ramadan season. Audiences are eagerly awaiting the series as filming is set to begin in Beirut.

“Al-Raysa” is produced by Jamal Sinan through Eagle Films,

while Nadine Jaber is writing the script and Philip Asmar is directing. With this project, the trio is reuniting after previous drama collaborations that garnered significant attention.

The Cast of “Al-Raysa”

Maggie Bou Ghosn chose a spontaneous way to reveal the cast. She posted on her Instagram account

a video clip from inside the production company’s offices, in which she was seen meeting with several of the series’ cast members.

Joining Maggie Bou Ghosn in the lead roles are Nada Abu Farhat, Ali Mneimneh, Marilyn Noman,

Betty Tuttle, Cynthia Karam, Serena Al-Shami, Rayan Harakat, Jerry Ghazal, and Jennifer Azar. Additional cast members are expected to be announced in the coming period.

A Social Drama with a Comedic Twist

The series Al-Raysa falls under the genre of social drama, blending seriousness with comedy.

The series presents characters and stories inspired by everyday life, with room for lighthearted moments and suspense.

Through the series, Maggie Bou Ghosn takes on a character different from many of her previous roles,

as the series focuses on realism and simplicity, eschewing exaggeration in style and performance.

A New Collaboration Between Maggie Bou Ghosn and Marilyn Numan

Al-Raysa marks the third collaboration between Maggie Bo Ghosn and Marilyn Neumann. They previously worked together on the series “A’Amal,”

and then in “Baladm,” before returning this time with a new dramatic relationship, the details of which have not yet been revealed.

As the start of filming approaches, audiences are eagerly awaiting the reveal of “Al-Raysa”’s storyline
