For the third consecutive year, *Forbes Middle East* magazine has named Lebanese executive Alice Yammine Bouez, CEO of the Arab Hospitals Federation, to its list of the Middle East’s Most Powerful Healthcare Leaders for 2026.
Bouez ranked 56th regionally.
She was among a list that included seven Lebanese leaders.
This representation reflects the ability of Lebanese professionals to assume influential positions in the healthcare sector, despite challenges and crises.
Since assuming her position in 2016, Bouez has led the process of developing and restructuring the Arab Hospitals Federation.
Today, the Federation comprises approximately 1,850 hospitals and healthcare institutions across 22 Arab countries.
Alice Yammine Bouez has also contributed to building Arab and international partnerships focused on quality, patient safety, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, sustainability, and capacity building.
Among the most notable of these is the strategic partnership with the World Health Organization’s Eastern Mediterranean Region.
In 2026, her international role was strengthened following her appointment as Vice Chair of the World Medical Tourism Council.
She also continued to support young researchers and leaders in the fields of health and nursing, while promoting women’s representation in decision-making positions.
Boys emphasized that her selection for a third term represents a renewed responsibility.
She stressed that people remain Lebanon’s most important asset and that the Arab region is capable of shaping the future of healthcare.
