Zaki Nassif returns to the forefront at the “Beautiful Voice of the Homeland” evening in Zouk Mikael

In a restoration of a musical legacy that carries the image and memory of Lebanon, the Philokalia Choir and Orchestra celebrates the 110th anniversary of the birth of Zaki Nassif (photo), with a special evening on July 4 on the stage of the Zouk Mikael Amphitheater, in collaboration with the Zaki Nassif Music Program at the American University of Beirut

The evening is titled “The Beautiful Voice of the Homeland”, and revives a group of Nassif’s works that imprinted the collective memory, through a new musical arrangement led by Sister Marana Saad, with the participation of Rafaka Fares as a soloist, and the “Barja” band for Dabke, along with the distributor Iyad Kanaan and special guest Zeina Saleh Kayyali
