The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the Lebanese University organized the Regional Stakeholder Forum through the Lebanese University and Social Entrepreneurship.
Under the patronage of the President of the Lebanese University, Dr. Bassam Badran, represented by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Salim al-Maqdisi.
This event was part of a project funded by the European Union through a capacity-building program in higher education.
The “Lebanese University and Social Entrepreneurship” forum served as a platform for dialogue, bringing together representatives from universities, municipal unions, and public institutions,
It also included civil society organizations and social entrepreneurship institutions.
Along with students and researchers, the event aimed to strengthen the role of universities in supporting social entrepreneurship and to solidify partnerships with the community to achieve sustainable development.
The program included panel discussions that highlighted successful experiences in social innovation.
It also featured presentations of entrepreneurial projects developed by Lebanese University students, which focused on finding practical solutions to social and environmental challenges.
The forum is part of a partnership between the Lebanese University, Saint Joseph University, Sagesse University, and the Lebanese International University.
It also involves the Union of Mediterranean Universities, Shannon Institute of Technology in Ireland, and the International University of Teledidactics in Italy, thereby strengthening academic cooperation and entrepreneurship with a sustainable impact.
