The first year of the launch of the “May Rihani Award”, dedicated to “Saluting Lebanese Creative Achievements”, has passed.
The award committee announced the result of the unanimous vote to award it to the Caracalla Theater for this year’s edition. This was in recognition of its continuous creative giving for more than half a century.
In honor of this win, the award committee decided to present it at the Caracalla Theater itself.
She is from the “Parliament of Francophone Women Writers”.
This was followed by the speech of Mrs. Mona Al-Hrawi, and the speech of Dr. Philip Salem. After a documentary about the fruits of the Caracalla troupe in 24 musical works choreographed in fifty-seven years.
The winner of the award, poet Mai Rihani, talks about her follow-up to Maestro Abdel Halim Caracalla. She also mentions his long creative career.
The award will be handed over at the conclusion of the ceremony, which will be inaugurated and moderated by the poet Henri Zghaib starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 10 at the Caracalla Theater – Sin El Fil – Horsh Tabet.
