Lime Stock

Lime Jumps on Nasdaq

Nasdaq’s Lime stock got off to a strong start during its first trading session, rising 8% above its initial offering price.

This performance reflected investors’ confidence in the company’s future and the growth of the electric mobility sector around the world.

The stock opened trading at $27, compared to the offer price of $25 per share.

As a result, the company’s market capitalization has risen to around $1.73 billion.

Lime was founded in 2017 in San Francisco.

Bicycle and e-scooter rental services are available for short periods.

It also operates in more than 230 cities around the world, making it one of the most prominent mini-mobility companies.

The listing comes at a time when the U.S. IPO market is witnessing a remarkable recovery in 2026.

Several major offerings, most notably the listing of SpaceX, have contributed to the revival of investor interest in the new companies.

Lime, along with a number of its existing shareholders, sold about 7 million shares in the initial public offering.

Total revenue was approximately $174 million, supporting the company’s plans to expand and strengthen its business.

Lime had announced its intention to enter the stock exchange for the first time in 2021, but market conditions and the effects of the Corona pandemic delayed this move.

During that period, its market capitalization fell from $2.4 billion in 2019 to about $510 million in 2020.

Although the company has not made a net profit so far, it recorded revenues of $886.7 million during 2025.

For a net loss of $59.3 million.

This underscored the continued growth of its business, as it seeks to improve profitability in the coming years.

These results indicate that Lime’s listing is an important step in the company’s journey and strengthens its position as one of the leading companies in the electric mobility sector, which continues to attract investors with future growth opportunities.
