D. The U.S. private sector added 98,000 jobs in June, compared with 122,000 in May. <\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>These figures have strengthened expectations that the direction of US monetary policy may change in the coming period.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Meanwhile, oil prices fell after a new round of indirect talks between the United States and Iran ended in Doha. <\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>without making tangible progress toward a lasting agreement.
