The parish of Ehden–Zgharta celebrated Holy Mass at the Church of Our Lady of Zgharta.
The occasion was the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, body and soul, into Heaven.
Archbishop Estephan Frangieh presided over the Divine Liturgy.
He was assisted by the parish priests, deacons, and altar servers.
The service took place amid a crowd of the faithful who participated in the prayer and celebration of this blessed occasion.
In his homily, Archdeacon Frangieh focused on the Virgin Mary.
He reflected on her faith and her role in the journey of salvation, calling on the faithful to follow her example and to hold fast to hope and trust in God.
Following the Mass, the faithful gathered around the festive meal in an atmosphere of joy.
Parishioners also welcomed the procession organized by the Youth Committee from Ehden to Zgharta amid a festive atmosphere that reflected the joy of the feast and the spirit of love.
