Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin are gradually being affected by a moderate low-pressure system.
It is accompanied by relatively cold air masses that will lead to atmospheric instability starting at noon.
It will bring scattered rain, at times heavy, accompanied by lightning, thunder, and active winds that will occasionally intensify.
The low-pressure system’s effects will continue until noon tomorrow, Sunday, when conditions will gradually stabilize.
A warning has been issued regarding the risk of flash floods on roads, particularly in the north of the country, during the period of the low-pressure system.
