Barcelona defeated Athletic Bilbao 2-0 on Thursday in a La Liga match.
In a game that marked the Spanish star’s first appearance with the team following his transfer from Manchester City earlier this month.
Barcelona took the lead in the 37th minute on a goal by Raphinha.
Fermín López then added the second goal in the 82nd minute, sealing Barcelona’s victory over Athletic Bilbao.
The match also saw Rodri (30) make his debut for Barcelona, coming on as a substitute in the 62nd minute.
Barcelona raised their points total to six.
They will play their third-round match at home against Rayo Vallecano next Monday.
Meanwhile, Bilbao suffered their second consecutive loss.
