Lebanese artist Wael Kfoury has made a remarkable return to the Mawazine “Rhythms of the World” festival in Rabat. This attendance came within the framework of Wael Kfoury at this year’s Mawazine Festival
After a ten-year absence, he held a public concert yesterday evening on the Al-Nahda platform as part of the activities of the twenty-first edition of the festival

Over the course of more than an hour and a half, Wael Kfoury presented a set of his most famous romantic songs, with which the audience reacted with great enthusiasm
He moved between his old and new works, singing “Omari Klo”, “Your Heart is Bad Bihwani”, “With Your Love I am Kathir”, “Main Habibi Ana” and “The Story of a Lover”.
Before concluding the evening with the song “Ma Promised You the Stars of the Night”, amid an enthusiastic atmosphere in which he was accompanied by the voices of the attendees who chanted the lyrics of the songs with him
The concert witnessed a heavy attendance from different age groups on the fifth night of the festival
which started its activities on June 19 and will continue until the 27th of this month
Noumane Lahlou celebrates Morocco and its musical heritage
In parallel with the Kfoury concert, Moroccan artist Noumane Lahlou held an evening at the Mohammed V Theater
He confirmed during a press conference before the concert that his musical works “are more suitable for the theater
Lahlou presented a bouquet of songs that celebrate Morocco, its cities and its cultural heritage, including “My country, the Zain of the countries.
With the participation of artistic teams representing diverse heritage styles from different regions of Morocco.
He also dedicated a section entitled “A Touch of Wafa” to honor the late Moroccan musician Abdelwahab Doukkali
In addition to another paragraph in which he celebrated um Kulthum, where he mixed passages from her songs with the works of late Moroccan artists
Among them are Mohamed Fouiteh, Ibrahim Alami and Mahmoud Al-Idrissi
Lahlou explained that this honor represents an appreciation for Egypt, where he lived for six years
He pointed out that it was an important milestone in his artistic career, as he was the first Moroccan artist to sing on the stage of the Egyptian Opera House in 1992 and its dance performances, in one of the festival’s most lively concerts of the year

In addition, the Mawazine Rhythms of the World Festival, which was launched in 2001 and is organized by the Association of Maghreb Cultures
